Partner assignment - Motor Control, Inverters & High-Voltage Power Electronics
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior consultant with documented experience in motor control and electric drives within industrial and/or automotive applications. The role includes hands-on work with power electronics for VFDs/inverters up to approximately 50 kW and 800–1200 V AC.
Expected competencies include end‑to‑end hardware responsibility, covering inverter and drive stages based on Si/SiC/GaN, measurement of current, voltage, and position, as well as PCB ownership from schematic and layout (Altium) through prototype, bring‑up, and verification. Extensive laboratory experience is required, including troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, power analyzers etc. and the ability to handle dv/dt‑ and EMI‑related issues.
Strong competence in EMC/EMI related to motor control is mandatory, including filter design and management of common‑mode effects. The role also requires experience in thermal and electrical dimensioning and a solid systems-level understanding of the motor–inverter–load, in close collaboration with mechanical, thermal, and overall system requirements.
Location: Stockholm. Some remote work is possible, but it depends on the organization’s needs and the client’s approval.
Duration of assignment: 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Start date: Early May.
